What they say
Cupid helps the world to fall in love, but now he has fallen in love himself only to discover his powers have deserted him. Will he be able to recover them? He enlists the help of a magical Campervan and a host of surprising characters. Together they set out on a chaotic road trip that takes them to the heart of what’s in our hearts. Dance theatre innovators New Art Club present Campervan Of Love. Based on the myth of Cupid and Psyche, it is a funny, musical, dancing adventure for all the family.
What we say
A family show that comes out of a bright pink 1970s VW campervan- what more could you want? New Art Club are notoriously witty, riotous in fact. They’ve made a name for themselves as a company who’ve turned contemporary dance on its metaphorical head. But they are more than two blokes who occasionally wear spandex, they’re smart too: smart, funny and they can dance – a winning combination. This is a show for all the family and all of your friends too! Bring a blanket or similar to sit on.
kARANdAVE Arts and Craft Studios is a workshop/studio with a small gallery of local artist’s work. www.karandave.co.uk
