We are happy and excited to announce that Simon Birch Dance are working toward a new iteration of Terrarium for SALT 2019 landscape/dance festival- reworked and re-designed by Mydd Pharo (Prideaux Angels).
Originally choreographed by Simon Birch in 2012, with music by Jon Hughes and costumes designed by the late Becs Andrews, Terrarium was toured to outdoor locations across the and also across Cornwall as part of Dance Republic 2’s SALT landscape/dance festival. It was performed as part of Big Dance in Leeds, move Sheffield, Hull’s Freedom Festival and City of London Festival. Terrariumwas installed in a variety of locations from the clifftops at Bedruthan Steps, Cornwall to Devonshire Square in the shadow of the Gherkin, Central London.
We are all working hard on preparations for a 2019 tour! We already have interest from Glastonbury Festival, Winchester Hat Fair and many others – watch this space.
